Error installing Mega V2

Hello,

We have installed mega v2 on one of our servers and face the following error on trying to open mega after installation

"The program cant start because api ms-win-crt-stdio-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem"

Pleasse help us resolve this

After deleting the File based environment we dont see the warning any more

We have uninstalled and reinstalled V2 on the same machine- would that cause a problem?

Is there a way to reset the security key in any way?

Hi,

 There is a least two errors from what I can see in your post.

1. The security Key is invalid, probably because you have installed V2 several times on the same server ?

2. One of your repositories is in GBMS format. ou can only use a RDBMS database lige SQl or Oracle.

Hello Azim, 

Yes, that helped . 

Once installed , it started working and now we get the following error on the web client/web front end- we have created a brand new environment/repository(sql based)

Error occured for license: Startup impossible because no license is identified. Ensure a license is installed.
Error occured for SubProcess - mgwmapp.exe: fail to instanciate, code 0x80080005 (Server execution failed )
Error occured for security key: Invalid Security Key
Warning occured for database: GBMS database (environment VGMSProductionV2Test) deprecated for hopex
Error: No environment found for this site.

We are able to login via the windows client into the same environment

Any clue as to what the problem might be?

Hi Smitakasinath,

Did you install Hopex V2 on a new server or just upgrade on V1R3 or other version?

Hi,

Please install "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015".

Make sure to download the 32 bits’ version, file “vc_redist.x86.exe”.
