Did you mean:

Display custom metaattributes in a shape.

Hello,

I'm looking into a way to have a shape display custom metaattributes.

I found this in the knowledge base :

http://community.mega.com/t5/custom/page/page-id/mega-kb-solution?sid=50120000000mqOdAAI

I'm stuck on the following line :

  • Explore the _ModelTypeParam "Technical Arcitecture Model" > _ModelTypeSegment "MAT Application" > _ModelTypeField

I cannot find this item using the explorer... what is the parent object ? Do you have the full path for the item ?

Thank you in advance.

Sincerely

Axel Canicio

Hello Axel,

You looked on an old KB entry for MEGA versions < MEGA 2005.

If you use MEGA 2009 or HOPEX (what I aspect), the names have changed :

_ModelTypeParam is now DiagramTypeParam

_ModelTypeSegment is now DiagramTypeObject

_ModelTypeField is now DiagramTypeField

_ModelTypeProperty is now DiagramTypeProperty

To modify a specific diagram type, use the "MetaStudio" Tab of the MEGA Navigator, then chose "Diagram Types". Chose the diagram type you would like to customize. Linked to the DiagramType, you will find the DiagramTypeParam...

Best regards,

Christoph

Dear Lionel,

Thank you for your answer.

In fact I can't find any of them. I just need to know where in the hierarchy tree of the metamodel I must look for them...

My MEGA application is in french, maybe I should first translate the term ?

Best regards

Axel

Dear Axel,

Please more detail, your problem is located on "at the level of _ModelTypeParam" or "at the level of  _ModelTypeField" ?

Thx
